The 7th of December marked a significant milestone for the 3MTT Nigeria Fellows in Benue State and an equally monumental day for us at SKYHub Nigeria.
This year, Cohort II brought together over 380 passionate fellows to study AI/ML, Software Development, and Cloud Computing. Over the past 12+ weeks, these individuals transitioned from beginners to intermediate and advanced tech professionals, ready to make their mark in the tech ecosystem.
The graduation and closing ceremony was nothing short of inspiring. Highlights included a thrilling hackathon, where Team “Benue Health” by Aondosen Gege & Agwu Agnes emerged as the overall winners, walking away with a whopping prize of N500,000! Their innovative approach and dedication to addressing pressing health challenges through technology have truly set them apart. This is not just a win for the team but also a testament to the transformative power of tech in driving solutions for real-world problems.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated trainers and facilitators Isaiah Emaikwu & Shie Paul, support staff Favour Nwachukwu & Precious Adi and interns Monday Ochedi whose unwavering support and expertise made this possible.
We are incredibly proud to announce that some of our fellows have already secured remote jobs, earning competitive pay while working for foreign companies—all while residing here in Makurdi, Benue State.
And to the 3MTT Nigeria Benue State Community Manager, Tuleun Aondohemba Kelvin —you are indeed the real MVP! Your leadership has been instrumental in this success.
